Fermentation tanks (Fermenter) of the design series hb-EUROPRO can be used for a wide range of predough and sourdough as well as soaking (cold or hot soaks) and scalding processes.

The fermenters are available in various standardized sizes between 500 liter and 5000 liter tank volume (other sizes upon request) and can be used as single-tank setup or be combinded in multi-tank systems.

Raw materials can be fed directly into the tanks (manual or automatic feeding of the individual raw materials into the tank) or via a separate predough-mixer that feeds a pre-mixed predough or sourdough into the tanks.
The heavy duty, bidirectional anchor agitators are designed in such a way that a homogeneous and lump-free mixing of the raw materials is achieved even when raw materials are fed directly or individually into the tanks.

hb-EUROPRO fermenters are equipped with pillowplate technology (heating or cooling jacket) and have a 3-walled structure (inner jacket, heating or cooling jacket with insulation, outer jacket). The heating or cooling jackets can be operated with hot water, cold water, glycol, steam, thermal oil or direct evaporation (e.g. FREON).
Thanks to the wall and floor scrapers and the special geometry of the agitators, the tank contents are circulated during the temperature control phases, so that the heat can be transferred from the heating or cooling jacket into the tank contents.

The plain bearing of the anchor agitator can be changed from the outside without removing the agitator.

All materials used are food-safe (e.g. stainless steel) and the plastics used (e.g. wall and floor scrapers) are in a blue, visually detectable color.

The connections are conical and therefore hygienic and easily accessible by the cleaning nozzles.

Several 360° rotating spray nozzles (cleaning nozzles) are installed in the tank top and positioned so that the entire inner tank surface is reached.
