With its 50 employees, the company always brings the latest ideas for the quality assurance, rationalization and modernization of bakeries onto the market. If the company built flour silo plants in the 1970s, today the entire raw material processing is offered from the silo to the kneader.
at the beginning of the 1970s
With a good idea, two young mills farmers from Upper Austria changed the working and production conditions of a whole industry at the beginning of the 1970s.
Helmut Hemetsberger and his brother Manfred constructed and built for the first time a small flour silo plant for the needs of the craft. Up to this point, such plants have only been produced for large bakeries and the baking industry. The two brothers liberated thousands of bakers from the plague to drag their own flour-sacks.
The company HB-Technik was founded in July 1973 in a rented building (old parish hall) in Ottnang / Bruckmühl. The two-man business was expanded a year later with two other brothers, Siegfried and Friedrich. Since the founded in 1973, the company is wholly owned by the Hemetsberger / Bachmair family.
In 1980, the Austrian market began to expand into the export market.
1984 Construction of an aluminum foundry.
1985 Founding of own electronics and software department.
1994 Introduction and development of HB-Euronorm silo plants.
1996 Presentation of the newly developed, fully automated pre-dough and leaven dough machine HB-Europro, another world novelty of HB technology! A variety of these pre-dough and sourdough plants works worldwide to the fullest satisfaction.
2001 Development of a new generation of recipe computers. In particular the multifunctional recipe computer "HB-Backcontrol".
2004 Construction and construction of a special grain mill. This HB special mill works with natural stone and produces from the grain an incomparable fineness of the flour.
2006 New development of a flour dust extraction unit of type HB-Aircontrol with up to six different suction points.
2008 The development of a new dough cooling process is unique worldwide. The final tests of the patent pending procedure are nearing completion.

The majority of the plants from HB technology are exported. A broad network of agents and dealers is to be looked after worldwide. We make use of the best computers and state-of-the-art machines, but the employees of a company are always decisive for success.
