A NEW AND INNOVATIVE DOUGH COOLING SYSTEM WILL BE PRESENTED AT THE IFFA:

HB-Technik GmbH won the IBA-TROPHY 2009

Award for a new and innovative dough cooling system:

The company HB-Technik GmbH from Oberndorf/Schwanenstadt won at the international bakery trade fair in Düsseldorf the internationally renowned innovation award Iba Trophy, on 6th October 2009.

The commission of experts awarded the hb-ice® dough cooling system, which enables completely new possibilities for the production of bread and sausages. This prestigious international award is given only every three years as part of the largest bakery trade fair in the world.

The new hb-ice® dough cooling system is used for the automatic production of food proof liquid ice made of drinking water and salt (purity law).

Hb-ice® is a free-flowing, pumpable liquid ice in a temperature range of -3°C up to -10°. It is a closed system that meets the most strictly hygienic and food regulations. It's storage able for a long time and it is used in very simple and uncomplicated way.

With this innovative development, a circle has been closed, which always failed because of the manual addition of flage ice (with known hygienic problems). These problems have been solved now with the automaticaly process of the
hb-ice® dough cooling system by HB-Technik.

In addition, this new system needs about 40% less operation costs than conventional systems.

The Austrian company HB-Technik GmbH is working on the bakery technology market since 37 yeard and that company offers customized automation concepts for the raw material preparation.

This innovative dough cooling system will be presented on the IFFA in Frankfurt to an international audience from 08.05. till 13.05.2010.
